Group/Division

The KLA Global Workplace Services (GWS) team is passionate about enabling the business goals and company culture through the delivery of workplace environments and services that foster teamwork, innovation and productivity. Our team runs a worldwide portfolio of over 3 million square feet, 135 sites and over 12,000 employees. In addition to ensuring the workspace and manufacturing facilities operate seamlessly, this group also provides employee and site services, such as cafeteria, transportation, security, and safety. The team is responsible for all construction and site improvement work to enable the business needs as well as align with the financial requirements.

Job /Preferred Qualifications

Responsibilities include

Facilities Operations and Management

  • Lead and manage daily operations and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and buildings across Korea (cleanrooms, labs, offices, data centers, training spaces).
  • Oversee design integrity, lifecycle management, and documentation of all facilities systems and equipment.
  • Ensure all workplaces support collaboration, innovation, productivity, and employee experience.
  • Oversee shuttle bus, pantry, janitorial, and other workplace soft services.
  • Ensure EHS compliance with Korea regulations and KLA standards, in partnership with Korea EHS.
  • Manage space planning, allocation, layout changes, and communication infrastructure.
  • Assist Asia Regional Security with office access control, CCTV, and physical security.
  • Support and maintain business continuity and disaster preparedness programs.
  • Manage Korea-wide KPIs, space utilization, and OPEX/CAPEX budgets.
  • Lead implementation and performance of the Integrated Facility Management (IFM) model for Korea.

Space Planning and Projects

  • Develop Korea-wide space roadmaps mainly for offices, cleanrooms, labs to accommodate business growth.
  • Lead planning, design, and execution of construction, renovation, cleanroom builds, lab installations, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Oversee project tendering, budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination.

Real Estate Management

  • Drive the long‑term real estate strategy for KLA Korea, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Manage site evaluations, lease renewals, site consolidation/expansions, and new facility selection.
  • Negotiate and execute lease agreements and coordinate with Finance, Legal, and Procurement.

Vendor Management

  • Lead performance management of service providers, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Work with Indirect Procurement to select, contract, and govern vendors according to corporate standards.
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs), KPIs, safety compliance, and cost performance are met.

Data Analytics

  • Analyze budgets, forecasts, market data, and operational metrics to support decision‑making.
  • Benchmark key operational KPIs and service levels with local and global industry peers.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to APAC GWS leadership and business stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 years of experience in facilities management or related fields.
  • Proven experience managing multi‑site or country‑level facilities operations including offices, cleanrooms, labs, or other technical facilities.
  • Familiarity with Korea regulatory requirements for real estate, construction, building codes, and facility operations.
  • Deep understanding of the facilities and real estate ecosystem, including operations, project management, EHS compliance, procurement, construction, and lease management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capability, with the ability to influence across functions.
  • Competence in data analysis, financial modelling, and budget management.
  • Experience working with Integrated Facility Management (IFM) models or outsourced service providers.
  • Ability to domestic travel in Korea to cover up all KLA Korea sites and required 5-10% for international travel per year.
