Join Kohler’s award-winning team, where you’ll collaborate across disciplines and grow through mentorship from industry-leading designers.
As a Lifestyle Design CoOp, you’ll help develop trend-forward, insight-driven concepts that reflect emerging consumer patterns and the evolving relationship between interior spaces and product design and contribute to early research, visual storytelling, and concept exploration that could inform design direction at a global scale.
What You’ll DoCollaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on trend research, data interpretation, mood boards, and 2D and 3D concept development for lifestyle, interiors, product, and CMF-driven projects.Support presentation development by creating visual assets, refining digital boards, coordinating samples, and helping bring ideas to life through clear, compelling storytelling.Participate in brainstorming sessions, research activities, and design reviews, contributing fresh thinking, strong aesthetic awareness, and thoughtful perspective to early-stage design exploration.
Currently enrolled in an accredited university-level program in Industrial Design or a related discipline, such as environmental design, furniture design, UX/UI design, architecture, or a closely related creative field.A flexible and dependable creative thinker with a strong eye for spatial experience, form, detail, materiality, color, and finish.Demonstrates proficiency in visual communication, digital modeling, and spatial rendering, with experience in Rhino, 3ds Max, SolidWorks, KeyShot, or similar design tools preferred.Coursework or hands-on experience in graphic design, engineering, product design, interior design, architecture, or a related creative discipline is a plus and will help support success in this co-op experience.
