Job Description

A busy and growing TriBeCa-based family is seeking a full-time newborn care specialist for their fourth child. The role will start in early February 2027, for three to four months, with the possibility of an extension. This is a repeat BAHS client who has successfully hired a newborn care provider who, unfortunately, won't be available for this child. This will be a 20/7 schedule. Candidates should ideally be able to start 1-2 weeks earlier if the baby arrives early.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for a newborn.
• Support feeding routines, including bringing the baby to the mother for feeding as needed.
• Assist with pump setup, bottle preparation, and sterilization.
• Monitor sleep patterns and support healthy overnight routines.
• Soothe, diaper, and care for the baby throughout the night.
• Complete light baby-related tasks, including:
  • Baby laundry
  • Nursery organization
  • Resetting baby items for the morning
• Provide a clear and concise morning update on feeding, sleep, and overall overnight activity.
• Maintain a calm, quiet, and supportive overnight environment.
• Comfortable working in a busy family

Qualifications

• The family is seeking a candidate who has a proven track record and impeccable references.
• The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about infant development and will be discrete, calm, professional, and know how to read the room.
• Someone who understands when to step in and step out will do well here. This is a busy household and they need a team-player who will be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the family and home.

Requirements

• Vaccines, including T-Dap and COVID vaccine and booster, are required.
• The family will be traveling domestically

Salary and Benefits

• Role does depend on experience and offers around $700 daily
