
The Knitwear Collection Coordinator Assistant aims to support the coordinator during the design and collection development process.
The main responsibilities are:
Education & Experience
Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design (with knitwear spcialization) or an equivalent academic qualification. Master degree in knitwear design is a plus.
Professional Experience: 1 to 2 years of proven experience in similar roles (e.g., knitwear design Office Assistant, Junior knitwear Product Developer, knitwear Collection coordinator assistant) with Luxury or Contemporary brands.
Hard Skills & Technical Expertise
Design & Graphics: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Advanced skills in technical drawing (Knitwear) and digital rendering
Technical Knowledge: garment construction (specifically on Womenswear KNITWEAR/JERSEY), including strong knowledge manufacturing processes, materials, yarn, stitches, knitwear tecnhniques, garment accessories, graphic/print, finish and embellishment.
Soft Skills & Mindset
Organization : Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while strictly adhering to deadlines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of bridging the gap between creative teams and technical departments.
Languages:
Fluent italian (written and spoken)
Fluent English (written and spoken) is important, to effectively manage international collaborations and suppliers.
