Job Summary

  • Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift (8 hours)
  • Rate of Pay: $26 - $30

The Kitting Supervisor will assist the Kitting Manager in all aspects of kitting and hand assembly.

  • Supervise and coordinate daily kitting activities to ensure timely and accurate assembly of kits.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of assemblers to achieve production goals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure availability of materials.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Inspect completed kits for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
  • Develop and maintain kitting schedules in alignment with production timelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance kitting efficiency and productivity.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Critical Skills & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of kitting processes and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in using software tools for tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, reach, twist, stoop, and perform repetitive movements.
  • Ability to safely work around moving machinery and production equipment.
  • Ability to maintain visual attention to detail and product quality.
