Job Responsibilities and Requirements
The Kitting Associate is responsible for accurately preparing and assembling component kits for production orders and outbound shipments. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, and proficiency with spreadsheets and ERP systems. The ideal candidate is reliable, self‑driven, and able to maintain accuracy while meeting daily operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Kitting Operations — Assemble and palletize kits according to work orders and documented procedures.
  • Material Verification — Audit parts and materials for accuracy, completeness, and correct revision levels.
  • Documentation & Labeling — Complete packing lists; apply part, pallet, and kit labels; generate pallet tags and DPP labels.
  • ERP & Data Entry — Scan jobs, update Oracle/SAP transactions, and maintain accurate digital records.
  • Equipment Operation — Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, wrappers, and other material‑handling equipment.
  • Pallet Preparation — Band or stretch‑wrap pallets using correct color coding; photograph pallet layers for traceability.
  • Material Transport — Move completed pallets to designated shipping areas.
  • Workplace Organization — Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
  • Teamwork & Reliability — Demonstrate consistent attendance, communication, and self‑management.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of experience in kitting, inventory, materials handling, or manufacturing.
  • 1+ year of forklift or lift‑equipment operation.
  • Basic computer skills, including Excel.
  • Ability to interpret work orders, performance data, and inventory information.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and work extended shifts/overtime as required.
  • Stable and reliable work history.
  • Willingness to cross‑train in other work centers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory, kitting, or materials handling.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (sorting, filtering, basic formulas).

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Intralox considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training and key skills. The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans.

Salary Range: $16.11 to $28.46/HR
