What you will do?

Kitchenhand

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
• Washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Assisting with basic food preparation and ingredient preparation
• Receiving, storing, and rotating stock in line with food safety requirements
• Ensuring kitchen and back-of-house areas meet hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
• Following food safety, HACCP, and workplace health and safety procedures
• Contributing to a positive team culture and efficient kitchen operation

Cook

• Preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with recipes and presentation standards
• Monitoring food quality, portion control, and consistency across service
• Assisting with menu preparation and daily kitchen production requirements
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times
• Managing stock rotation and minimising food waste
• Supporting kitchen operations to ensure timely service during peak periods
• Working collaboratively with Kitchenhands and the wider hospitality team
• Contributing to a positive guest experience through quality food and efficient service
• Assisting with opening, closing, and general kitchen operational requirements

More about you

• Solid background in kitchen operations, previous experience as a Kitchenhand or Cook is required
• Willingness to learn under guidance from our chefs
• Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment
• Food Safety Certificate
• For Cook applicants, currently undertaking Level 3 Cookery Certificate, preferred
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster
