About the role:

Work by the coast and lead the kitchen team at Noordzee Résidence Cadzand-Bad

At Noordzee Résidence Cadzand-Bad, guests come to enjoy the beach, the Zeeland coast and a relaxing holiday. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you help create that experience from behind the scenes. Together with your team, you make sure guests can enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner in a welcoming holiday atmosphere.

You are the person who keeps the kitchen running smoothly during your shift. You lead by example, keep an overview and make sure the team knows what needs to be done. At the same time, you actively work in the kitchen yourself, preparing and finishing dishes and supporting your colleagues when things get busy.

What will you do:

As Kitchen Supervisor, you coordinate the daily kitchen operations and ensure everything is well organised before, during and after service. You work closely with the kitchen team and help create a positive and productive working environment.

Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and supervising the daily kitchen operation.
• Preparing and finishing dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
• Coaching and supporting kitchen employees during their work.
• Monitoring quality, hygiene and HACCP procedures.
• Keeping track of stock levels and checking deliveries.
• Taking the lead during your shift and stepping in wherever needed.

This is you:

You are a passionate and experienced cook who enjoys taking responsibility and working in a dynamic kitchen environment. You know how to keep an overview during busy services, bring out the best in your colleagues and make sure quality remains high. You are hands-on, organized and confident in taking the lead when needed.

You bring:

• Experience in a similar kitchen or supervisory role
• A completed SVH Kitchen qualification or equivalent
• A good command of English and a willingness to learn Dutch
• Knowledge of HACCP guidelines and health and safety regulations
• The ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays

A full-time position involves a 38-hour workweek, equivalent to 5 working days. For part-time positions, salary and vacation days will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.
