Who we’re looking for:

KITCHEN SUPERVISOR

Last time we checked, kitchens didn’t run themselves. That’s where you come in. We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, food-loving leader to oversee the kitchen and its staff. The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the kitchen so guests receive cuisine and service that meets impeccable Staypineapple Standards.

What to expect:

Here are a few things that will make your days full and rewarding:

1. Providing hands-on leadership in day-to-day operations by directly supervising and assisting the kitchen team.
2. Planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities.
3. Monitoring and maintaining the quality of food products to ensure consistency with food preparation, presentation, and delivery standards.
4. Safeguarding all food preparation team members by training to increase their knowledge regarding safety, sanitation and accident prevention principles.
5. Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date plan of kitchen staff needs, preparing schedules, covering shifts and ensuring that staff is in place for all shifts.

Your experience and qualifications:

1. 2 years’ previous experience in a Kitchen Supervisor Role.
2. Food Handlers Permit required.
3. Provide a “lead by example” approach in an effort to create a positive team culture.
4. Ability to quickly assess situations and create effective resolutions to problems.
5. Proficient at ensuring that server requests are fulfilled in a thorough and timely manner.
6. Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure and limited supervision.
7. Ability to operate within the constraints of developed budgets.
8. Knowledge and application of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
9. Demonstrated knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions.

Pay: $31.70 per hour
