Job Title: Kitchen Steward (LTE)

Department: Program Food

Reports To: Kitchen Manager

Position Type: Regular, Part-time

FLSA Status: non-exempt

Salary: $20.00/hr.

Position

This position is a limited term employment position in our program kitchen. The role will be responsible for dishwashing, kitchen cleanliness, and sanitation. They will also assist with basic food preparation for our youth and older adult meal service. Lastly, they will assist with portioning and packaging meal for the meals on wheels program.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen
• Help coworkers as needed
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification or the ability to obtain within the first 60 in the Kitchen Steward position
• Assist with portioning and packaging up Meals on Wheels food
• Assist kitchen staff in portioning food for our older adult and youth meal programs
