Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join the kitchen team within its restaurant operations in Msida.

The selected candidate will play an important role in supporting the kitchen team by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with basic kitchen duties, and ensuring a clean and organised working environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Wash dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and cookware efficiently.
• 
  Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout all kitchen and storage areas.
• 
  Assist with receiving, organising, and storing deliveries.
• 
  Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic preparation tasks when required.
• 
  Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycling procedures are followed.
• 
  Clean floors, surfaces, and kitchen equipment regularly.
• 
  Follow health, safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures at all times.
• 
  Assist in maintaining an organised and efficient kitchen environment.

Requirements

• 
  Candidates must be residing in Malta or hold a valid EU residence permit
• 
  Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an asset.
• 
  Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• 
  Reliable, responsible, and hardworking attitude.
• 
  Good teamwork and communication skills.
• 
  Basic English communication skills required.
• 
  Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
