Our passionate Kitchen Managers use a growth mindset to develop menus, planning, and team work to better our school, and create nutritional meals for all the children. Role Responsibilities:

• Create a welcoming, clean, and organized kitchen space.
• Use a growth mindset to develop menus, complete paperwork, and help when needed.
• We are looking for a team player. We want someone who will help staff as it comes to kitchen duties and build bonds.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can eat nutritional meals.
• Communicate clearly, thoroughly, and respectfully to all staff and co-workers on the admin team.
• Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where the day-to-day kitchen responsibilities can happen seamlessly.

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of professional Kitchen experience preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED required. Higher education/College Classes preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Health and Safety Texas Guidelines.
• Must meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Food Handlers preferred.

Compensation: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
