About the role
What you will do
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the kitchen and laundry equipment.
Diagnose and repair faults in ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, steamers, washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel departments.
Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before they impact operations.
Conduct routine inspections and testing of equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment deficiencies.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and hotel standards.
Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers when required.
Support the Engineering team with general maintenance tasks as needed.
What you bring
Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining commercial kitchen and laundry equipment, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and equipment drawings.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good English communication skills.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
