Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Kitchen Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in catering or kitchen operations and will assist with the preparation of high-quality food while ensuring the smooth running of daily kitchen activities.

No previous pastry experience is required, as our kitchen focuses on a different style of food preparation. We are seeking someone with a strong catering background, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and contribute to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  Assist with daily food preparation and kitchen operations
• 
  Support chefs and kitchen staff with ingredient preparation
• 
  Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards
• 
  Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
• 
  Follow food hygiene and safety regulations
• 
  Assist with stock handling, storage, and organisation
• 
  Support the team during busy service periods
• 
  Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment

Requirements:

• Residing in Malta
• 
  Previous experience in catering, food preparation, or a kitchen environment
• 
  Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices
• 
  Ability to work well as part of a team
• 
  Reliable, organised, and willing to learn
• 
  Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• 
  Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
