Our Kitchen Helpers support the culinary team by assisting with basic food preparation, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen. This role is essential to ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently while delivering an excellent guest experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
• Prepare simple food items as directed while following food safety standards.
• Operate dishwashers and wash pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas, equipment, and storage areas.
• Restock food, supplies, and clean dishes throughout the shift.
• Remove garbage and recycling, and sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Support cooks and chefs with general kitchen duties as needed.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience
• Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is an asset but not required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Positive attitude, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
