Nestled within one of Australia's most prestigious residential and sporting communities, Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club is home to two beautifully maintained private championship golf courses and an exclusive Members-only clubhouse.

We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional food, service and experiences to our Members and guests. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Hand & Catering Assistant to join our professional hospitality team on a casual basis.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, varied position supporting both the kitchen and catering operations. you will help maintain the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen while assisting with member events, functions and catering services.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
• Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment
• Assisting with stock handling and storage
• Supporting chefs with food preparation and mise en place
• Preparing sandwiches and other basic food items
• Assisting with the setup and pack down of events and functions
• Providing general kitchen and catering support as required

You will be an all-rounder who takes pride in your work, can be trusted to complete tasks unsupervised, and contributes positively to a team environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A can-do attitude and excellent communication skills
• Physically fit and comfortable with some heavy lifting
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Above all, a great personality with a can-do attitude
• Previous food preparation experience (sandwich making, salads, plating)
• Current, valid Queensland driver's licence

Hours and Days

Our kitchen operates seven days a week, including evenings, weekends and public holidays. Successful applicants must be available to work across a flexible rotating roster.
