Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Hand to join our team in High Range, New South Wales. This casual role is essential for supporting our kitchen operations, ensuring a clean and efficient environment. The Kitchen Hand will assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and contribute to the overall success of our hospitality services.

Hours and Days of Work

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 6.00 am to 9.30 am

Responsibilities:

  • Assist chefs with food preparation and cooking tasks as required
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure hygiene standards
  • Help with stock management, including receiving and storing deliveries
  • Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
  • Support the kitchen team during busy service periods

Qualifications:

  • No formal education required; however, a passion for food and hospitality is essential
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not necessary
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
