About the Role
Eureka Villages is looking for a dedicated daytime Kitchen Hand to join our team in Rockhampton on a casual basis (approximately 15 hours per week).
This role will prepare and serve nutritious, high‑quality meals for residents, ensuring dietary needs are met while maintaining a safe, efficient kitchen environment.
This role would be required to work two Saturday shifts per month.
Responsibilities include:
Assist with basic food preparation and plating
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, dishes, and equipment
Support cooks and chefs with day‑to‑day kitchen operations
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health procedures
About You
Proven experience working in kitchens, hospitality, or food preparation environments
Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health standards
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a busy team
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills
