What You'll Do
As a Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician, you'll work alongside an experienced team to clean and maintain commercial kitchen exhaust systems using specialized equipment and power washing techniques.
Responsibilities
- Clean commercial kitchen exhaust systems, including:

- Exhaust fans (including rooftop units when required)
- Set up and break down equipment efficiently and safely
- Protect surrounding areas to maintain clean and organized job sites
- Operate pressure washing and specialized cleaning equipment
- Follow all SERVPRO safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
- Ensure all work meets NFPA 96 standards and customer expectations
- Complete job documentation, photographs, and service reports
- Perform inspections and identify areas requiring additional cleaning or maintenance
- Communicate professionally with customers and teammates
- Help maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Participate in ongoing safety meetings and training

Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and occasional holidays as business needs require
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, pressure washing, restoration, construction, or a related trade is preferred but not required—we will train the right candidate
- IICRC certifications are a plus but not required
Physical Requirements
This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to:
- Regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Climb ladders and work on rooftops safely
- Work at ceiling heights and in confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics
- Stand, bend, kneel, crawl, and reach for extended periods
- Repeatedly push, pull, lift, and carry equipment
- Work around commercial cleaning chemicals and pressure washing equipment
- Work in varying weather conditions when servicing rooftop exhaust systems
