Kitchen Custodian

10-month Salary employee (School Days Only)

Days of Work: Monday to Friday

Times of Shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Job Summary:

1. Responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of the kitchen as necessary.
2. Assists with delivery and storage of cafeteria supplies.
3. Rotates frozen and refrigerated stock as required.
4. Removes kitchen and cafeteria refuse.
5. Delivers prepared projects within the building.
6. Performs other duties as assigned by the Building and Grounds Manager

Qualifications:

1. Skilled in the use of housekeeping equipment.
2. Possess safety habits, skills and insight while performing assigned duties.
3. Possess inventory & stock rotation skills.
4. Must be capable of understanding instructions and physically able to perform assigned tasks. Lifting up to 30 lbs. with assistance.

Working Conditions:

Is under the supervision of the the Building and Grounds Manager.

Terms of Employment

10 months. Salary and benefits to be established by the agreement between the Board of Education and the District 211 Operations Maintenance Group.
