Delaware North Australia is hiring a a dedicated Kitchen Attendant to join our vibrant culinary team at the Blacktown Exercise and Technology Hub (BEST). As a Kitchen Attendant, you'll be essential in maintaining cleanliness, order, and efficiency in the kitchen, ensuring smooth operations. You’ll also use basic cooking skills and have a strong grasp of kitchen safety practices. What you will do?

• Prepare food in a commercial kitchen, ensuring it’s well presented
• Keep the kitchen area clean and maintain high hygiene standards
• Follow WHS guidelines, manage Food Safety, and conduct temperature and quality checks
• Assist kitchen staff in maintaining an organised and efficient workspace
• Perform cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, and waste management

More about you

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Attendant, preferred
• Food Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain one during onboarding
• Strong communication skills
• Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible with shifts, available to work mornings, days, and nights, including weekends
