Our Food Services program is ready to hire a Kitchen Assistant to join the team.
We are looking for compassionate, energetic, and dependable individuals who are committed to providing quality meals to the children in our care and outstanding customer service.
QualificationsIn this role, you will be assisting in the preparation of meals, delivering food carts during meal service times, washing dishes, maintaining the kitchen clean and in good order, food storage, following Maricopa County Health Department sanitation requirements, and being an integral member of the food services team.
To be considered you must have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A level one fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain one before starting
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- A valid Arizona Driver’s License and a clean five-year motor vehicle history
- A Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card or be able to obtain one before the initial employment start date
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Display good written and verbal communication skills
You are a star candidate if you have the above, and:
- Have a current food handlers card
- Previous experience in food preparation for large groups and a fast-paced environment
