We’re excited to bring Mia’s Table to Sugar Land and are currently building our opening team ahead of our anticipated late June 2026 opening!

What You’ll Do:

As a Kitchen Team Member at Mia’s Table, you’ll play an important role in preparing fresh, high-quality food while helping maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and cooking food according to Mia’s Table recipes and standards
• Operating kitchen equipment including grills, fryers, ovens, and prep equipment
• Setting up and stocking stations for daily service
• Following recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines consistently
• Assisting with food prep including chopping, portioning and ingredient preparation
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen and workstations
• Properly storing, labeling, and rotating food products
• Assisting with inventory, restocking, and receiving deliveries
• Working with urgency while maintaining quality and accuracy during busy shifts
• Following all food safety, sanitation, and health department procedures
• Helping maintain a positive, team-oriented kitchen culture

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to food quality
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects when needed
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Food Handler Certification required
