If so, The Friendship School is looking for an exceptional Kindergarten Teacher to join our team.

What You'll Do

As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will:

• Design joyful, play-based learning experiences that spark curiosity while building strong literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Create a classroom where inquiry, imagination, and purposeful play are essential parts of every child's learning experience.
• Foster a safe, inclusive community where every child feels known, valued, and empowered to take risks as a learner.
• Observe deeply, listen carefully, and use children's interests to create authentic learning opportunities.
• Partner closely with families to support each child's academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Collaborate with a passionate team of educators committed to innovation, continuous learning, and excellence in early childhood education.

Qualifications:

• Connecticut Teacher certification or eligibility for
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience working with children in school or educational settings.
