Salary Range: $54,987.00 - $80,018.00 Salary/yearThe Wintergreen Interdistrict Magnet School community is seeking a passionate, nurturing, and innovative Kindergarten teacher to join our award-winning school. Our Kindergarten teachers play a critical role in laying the foundation for lifelong learning. We are seeking an educator who understands the developmental needs of young learners and creates a classroom environment where children feel valued, supported, and inspired to explore, create, and grow. Grade-level teams collaborate closely to design engaging learning experiences that integrate literacy, mathematics, science, social-emotional learning, and the arts.
Candidates with experience or interest in arts integration, play-based and project-based learning, social-emotional learning, early childhood education, and STEAM instruction are encouraged to apply.

QualificationsEndorsement, Education, and Experience Requirements
- Successful candidates must possess strong instructional practices, a deep commitment to young children, and excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Experience teaching Kindergarten or primary elementary students and a demonstrated ability to support diverse learners is preferred.
- Connecticut State Certification 013 (Integrated Early Childhood/Special Education), 305 (Elementary Education), or other appropriate Connecticut certification required.
