Kindergarten Aide
Position Purpose
To provide support to the teachers by helping to set up tasks and implement instructional processes. This job involves preparing activities for the day under the instruction of the teacher, supervising the children under their care, and ensuring the classroom stays organized. Due to their students' young age, kindergarten teacher assistants take on a combination of educational and child-care duties. This role is well suited to people who are patient, have good attention to detail, and have experience of working with children.

Uses standard teaching equipment such as personal computers, printer, telephone, pens and pencils, dry erase markers, timer, etc.
Travel Requirements
Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
Pay Rate
$15.75 per hour.
Work Schedule
7.25 hours per day.
182 days per year.
