We’re opening Staten Island’s first KidStrong Center this summer and looking for Coaches who bring passion, energy, and a genuine love for working with kids. You’ll deliver fun, science-based classes for kids from walking age through 11 — building brainpower, physical skills, and character on the blue floor every day.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Coach classes across all age groups (walking through 11) using our evolving Brain, Physical, and Character curriculum.
- Earn Coach Certification through our HQ training program — we invest in you from day one.
- Create positive, high-energy experiences for kids and families before, during, and after every class.
- Run camps during school breaks and support special events like movie nights and birthday parties.
- Build genuine relationships with KidStrong families — our philosophy: families don’t leave KidStrong.
- Help execute community events, tabling, and outreach — we’re building something new on Staten Island and you’ll be part of the story.
- Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance. A great center looks great.
WHO YOU ARE
- Passionate about working with kids — non-negotiable.
- Athletic, coaching, or child development background (pediatric OT/PT a plus).
- High energy with a commanding, engaging presence.
- Comfortable speaking with grown ups about their child’s progress and our curriculum.
- CPR certified or willing to certify before starting.
- Self-starter. 18+ years of age. Ready to move — this role is physically active (on your feet, lifting up to 25 lbs, covering miles per shift).
