Salary Range: $16.90 - $20.45 Hourly

The YMCA of Orange County is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We are actively seeking highly engaged, intentional, and service-oriented individuals for part-time Kid Zone Staff positions.

Location: Fullerton
Work Schedule: Open availability strongly preferred. Candidates must be able to work the full scheduled shift during the week. Please note that applicants with limited afternoon availability may not be considered.
- Mon–Thu: 2:50 PM–7:45 PM (priority need)
- Fri & Sat: Morning availability preferred
- Summer: AM shifts may be available
Purpose and Impact:

- - Maintain a healthy, secure environment through active supervision, safety checks, and proper response to incidents and emergencies.

- - Lead developmentally appropriate activities, follow daily schedules, and promote positive behavior that enriches each child’s visit.
- Build Positive Connections:
- - Provide welcoming, responsive service to families, encourage participation in Y programs, and contribute to a professional, collaborative team culture.

Minimum

Qualifications:
- Minimum Age: 16 years with valid work permit.
- Experience & Skills:
- - Preferred 2 years work experience with children ages 6 weeks to 11 years old.
- - Experience in customer service preferred.
- - Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Certifications:
- - First Aid and CPR certifications required (training provided and paid for by the YMCA).
