Kickboxing Coach

Position Summary

The Kickboxing Coach is responsible for delivering exceptional member experiences through high-energy coaching, private training, small group sessions, and sales excellence. This role combines fitness expertise, member engagement, and business growth by helping members achieve results while driving revenue through personal training and supplement sales.

Successful coaches are enthusiastic leaders who embody the UFC GYM philosophy of Train Different®, motivate members to push beyond their limits, and create an environment where confidence and performance thrive.

Weekend availability is required, including a minimum of one weekend day.

What You'll Do

Coaching & Member Results

• Lead safe, effective, and engaging kickboxing training sessions.
• Motivate members of all fitness levels to achieve their goals.
• Design customized training programs based on member needs and objectives.
• Conduct private coaching and small group training sessions.
• Perform Starter Sessions and fitness assessments.
• Track member progress and celebrate achievements.
• Ensure training spaces and fitness areas remain organized, clean, and professional.

Sales & Business Development

• Build and grow your personal training client base.
• Promote and sell private coaching sessions and small group training programs.
• Educate members on supplements and wellness solutions that support their fitness goals.
• Participate in complimentary workouts, seminars, workshops, and other revenue-generating events.
• Execute prospecting activities, guest tours, and member outreach efforts.
• Achieve monthly revenue goals related to coaching and supplement sales.

What We're Looking For

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong understanding of kickboxing instruction, coaching techniques, and program design.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for fitness, martial arts, and helping others succeed.
• Strong customer service and sales mindset.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Comfortable using fitness management software and basic computer applications.
• Self-motivated, outgoing, and team-oriented.
• Knowledge of gym safety procedures and best practices.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Current CPR/AED Certification.
• Certification recognized by UFC GYM and/or amateur or professional fight experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum one (1) year of related coaching, fitness, or martial arts experience.
• TrustLine Certified.
• LiveScan Clearance.
• State-specific certifications as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Performance, or a related field.
• Current DotFIT Certification.
• Additional fitness or martial arts certifications.
• Experience in personal training, group fitness, or combat sports coaching.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, coach, and demonstrate movements for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of 45+ pounds.
• Ability to squat, bend, reach, strike, kick, and demonstrate kickboxing techniques safely.
• Comfortable working in an active, high-energy fitness environment.

Compensation: $35.00 - $65.00 per hour
