Roles & responsibilities
We are recruiting for an Audit Associate in the Financial Service Audit team. In this team, your responsibilities will include working with a team of experienced professionals and work on Audit engagements of international KPMG teams and Financial Service and/or international clients. In addition, you will be required to:
·Auditing complex sections of the financial statements of companies as per country specific statutory requirements·Being active member of the Financial Service Audit engagement team and performing audit procedures·Building relationships with onshore team members sitting across different locations.·Maintaining the data confidentiality and adherence to the risk management policy by the team members.
Mandatory & Preferred Technical & Functional skills
•Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.•Book-keeping experience will be beneficial but not essential.•Proficiency/ Working knowledge of Adobe Professional would be an added advantage.•Understanding of international GAAP, IFRS (especially IFRS 9), Banking or Credit Risk will be an added advantage•
