Roles & Responsibilities :
S4 AA Expert: Act as functional expert for SAP Asset Accounting (FI-AA) in S/4HANA
Data analysis: Validate asset accounting configurations including depreciation areas, asset classes, and account determination
Scrapping, scrapping at supplier, sales intercompany, sales 3rd parties, transfer, inventory differences
Adjust field status groups for depreciation and acquisition accounts pertaining to Asset Master data
Compliance: Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and IFRS asset accounting standards including Government grants, BR testing etc
Perform testing and validation of asset postings and depreciation runs.
Process development: Document all process activities and support benchmarking to ensure process standardization.
Support / keep informed: Built up interfaces (ESM), definition of approval workflows for asset sales, scraping etc. processes
Training: Conduct end user training, revise existing DTP's from R3 to S4 and set up training material to impart know-how to B2P organization on S4 accounting & reporting topics.
Educational qualification:
B. Com or MBA finance (not correspondence) or Accounting and financial management
Experience : Min 3 years of professional experience in the relevant field
Must have experience in cross-functional processes and a matrix organization
Mandatory/requires Skills :
Understanding of financial close processes, provisions, accruals, and financial reporting. Proficient knowledge of SAP FI - Asset Accounting, Prior experience in data migration of asset masters and values
Proficient communication skills, Proficient analytical, problem solving and time management skills, Proficient understanding of asset capitalization, depreciation methods, and asset lifecycle management.
