Position Type: Key Holder, New York
Salary Range: $16.50 - $23.00 Hourly

Travel Percentage: Flexible Travel
Job Shift: Open Availability (including weekends)Job Purpose:
- The Key Holder at COSTELLOS ACE is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the store by managing opening and closing procedures, overseeing staff during shifts, and maintaining a secure and organized environment. This role is crucial in supporting the store management team and ensuring that customers receive excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute opening and closing procedures, including securing the store and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in managing daily store operations, including sales floor activities, inventory management, and customer service.
- Supervise and lead store associates during shifts, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and a positive work environment.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support the management team in implementing store policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge related to retail operations.
- Assist in maintaining store cleanliness and organization, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
- Contribute to achieving store sales goals by actively promoting products and services to customers.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required

Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience with cash handling and managing store operations.
- Familiarity with inventory management and loss prevention strategies.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and staff.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and other retail software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently.
