As Key Expert for Process Analytical Technologies (PAT) and Analytical Transfers within our MSAT Recombinant Drug Substance Microbial team, you'll drive the implementation of cutting-edge analytical technologies and support critical method transfers for our new insulin facility. Main responsibilities:

  • Implement and support qualification of advanced analytical technologies in production facilities, ensuring compliance with cGMP requirements and regulatory standards
  • Support analytical method transfers between quality control units, supporting seamless technology deployment
  • Develop and optimize Process Analytical Technology (PAT) systems for real-time monitoring and process control
  • Provide technical expertise for regulatory submissions and respond to authority questions regarding analytical methods
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Process Science, and Quality Assurance to ensure analytical success

About you

  • Education/Experience PhD or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or Pharmacy; Strong technical background with relevant years of hands-on experience in analytical equipment and applications including chromatography, mass spectrometry, TOC, Raman, and infrared spectroscopy

  • Soft and technical skills Experience with Process Analytical Technologies (PAT), system programming, and complex data evaluation; Experience working in cGMP environments with understanding of biotechnological processes; Strong cross-functional teamwork abilities with excellent communication skills

  • Languages Fluency in English and German (verbal and written); Chinese language skills advantageous

  • Additional: Travel activity: Willingness to travel to China, to support cross-cultural collaboration and on-site implementation activities.

The salary range for this position is :€83.856,00 - €125.784,00

Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
