Job Description

The Project Manager, Key Corporate Accounts is responsible for partnering with Dealers to guide them through the project management lifecycle. Your primary goal is to ensure all assigned projects are delivered on time, meet customer specifications, and uphold Teknion’s rigorous standards. This role manages projects with an average annual sales value of approximately $20 million. The role begins with supporting the RFP process and continues until project Close out.

What is this role responsible for?

Pre-Installation & Planning

  • Timeline Development: Collaborate with Dealers and customers to establish project timelines that meet client needs while aligning with Teknion’s manufacturing capabilities.
  • Technical Oversight: Master order specifications (finishes, electrical, configurations) and work with Technical Services to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Special Orders: Review custom requests with Sales and Product Engineering to confirm manufacturing feasibility and develop necessary installation drawings.
  • Mock-ups & Meetings: Attend on-site meetings with designers, general contractors and sub-trades; oversee the ordering and setup of project mock-ups.
  • Logistics Coordination: Manage order previews, changes, and shipping schedules; coordinate delivery and installation activities between Teknion and the Dealer.
  • Direct Sales: Act in the capacity of a Dealer when handling direct sales, including facilitating payment resolution.

Post-Installation & Maintenance

  • Issue Resolution: Manage product deficiencies, quality issues, and warranty claims. Work with dealers, GC’s and Teknion Operation department to address any scheduling conflicts.
  • Deficiency Management: Work with Dealers to create deficiency lists and coordinate the shipment and installation of replacement products. Manage the payment of any sight deficiencies through the GC Change Resolution process.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct site visits to ensure all deficiencies are resolved and the customer is satisfied with the final product.
  • Contractual Oversight: Oversee formal and informal maintenance or contractual agreements. Manage the project to be on time and on budget
  • Site Management – Lead Teknion’s team in project management oversight, working with the General contractors and dealers.

General & Administrative

  • Dealer Support: Coach Dealers on using Teknion’s Installation Guides, Operations Manuals, and proper purchase order formatting.
  • Training : train dealers on project management best practice
  • Key point of contact: For Teknion on any site issues.

What qualifications/experience are preferred for this role?

  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Very strong communication skills
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Excellent Organizational skills
  • Experience in managing onsite projects preferred.
  • Knowledge of Project Management Software.

The expected base salary range for this position starts at $74,000.00 - $93,000.00. Final base salary offers will reflect an assessment of the selected candidate's skills, demonstrated competencies, and adherence to our internal pay equity framework.
