The Role

As a Key Account Specialist in West and East Flanders provinces (Brugge, Gent, Kortrijk area), you'll be the driving force behind Kennametal's market presence, actively seeking opportunities to turn potential customers into loyal clients. With a proactive and goal-oriented mindset, you'll identify gaps in the market and take strategic measures to optimally position our premium products.

Key Responsibilities

Drive the acquisition and identification of new customers, opening up new segments for our Kennametal products.

Lead technical and commercial consultations with customers, collaborating closely with teams to ensure exceptional service.

Manage the entire sales process, including regular customer visits within your territory.

Confidently lead offer preparations, negotiations, and contract awards until successful completion.

What We Need To See From You

You have completed vocational training in a metalworking profession or hold a relevant technical qualification.

You possess strong intrinsic motivation and a self-starter mentality.

You have professional experience and knowledge in machining.

You have knowledge of manufacturing processes and requirements in mechanical engineering.

What we can offer

For this position you will have a company car that you can utilize for your personal use as well. Also, all the equipment that you need to work from home (laptop, cell phone…).

On boarding plan structured: visit to our Maastricht office on the 1st day to get the equipment. Scheduled visit to our plants in Germany to watch from firsthand our manufacturing processes.

You will travel to our clients with other Key Account Specialists to learn from them for the first weeks.
