Key Account Manager - Wooloworths

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to lead our strategic partnership with Woolworths, one of Australia's most important grocery customers.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the National Business Manager Grocery, this role is responsible for driving the commercial performance, growth agenda and strategic partnership between Bayer Consumer Health and Woolworths.

You will lead the development and execution of customer plans, investment strategies, promotional programs and category initiatives that deliver sustainable sales growth, profitability, market share and customer value.

As a key member of our Grocery Squad, you'll work collaboratively across Sales, Marketing, Category & Insights, Finance, Supply Chain and Trade Activation teams to accelerate growth and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

• Develop and execute annual customer growth plans for Woolworths.
• Deliver sales, profit, distribution, market share and investment targets.
• Lead customer planning, forecasting, joint business planning and commercial reviews.
• Build and strengthen relationships across Woolworths commercial, category, merchandising, replenishment and digital teams.
• Identify growth opportunities through customer, category and shopper insights.
• Manage promotional programs, trade investment and customer profitability.
• Apply Revenue Growth Management principles to improve investment effectiveness and ROI.
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure best-in-class execution of customer initiatives.
• Lead forecasting, performance reviews and commercial governance activities.
• Contribute to broader Grocery channel strategy and squad priorities

Does this sound like you?

• Minimum 3 years' experience managing customer accounts within FMCG, Consumer Health, Grocery, Pharmacy or a related industry.
• Experience working with major retailers, wholesalers or banner groups.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of trade investment, profitability and promotional effectiveness.
• Demonstrated success developing and executing customer growth strategies and business plans.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data and insights into actionable recommendations.
• Experience using tools such as Circana/IRI, Nielsen, Quantium, Power BI or similar.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes.
