Key Account Manager – Chemical Contract Logistics Feluy

You get it done

As Key Account Manager at DSV in Feluy, you manage the relationship with one dedicated customer at a single-customer site specialising in chemical warehousing. You connect the customer's priorities with our contract logistics operations, building a long-term partnership based on trust, safety and reliable service. Your experience in the chemical segment of third-party logistics (3PL) helps you translate customer needs into practical warehouse solutions and continuous improvements.

Tasks:

• You build a detailed understanding of your customer's strategy, chemical supply chain and warehousing requirements, anticipating changes that affect the site;
• You identify opportunities to develop the account through additional services and warehouse improvements, coordinating related projects with the customer and internal teams;
• You act as the customer's first point of escalation, aligning with operations on solutions and keeping stakeholders informed until issues are resolved;
• You ensure accurate, timely reporting and invoicing, follow up on agreed KPIs and service levels, and turn performance insights into clear actions;
• You translate chemical-sector requirements into clear agreements with warehouse, customer service and other relevant teams, keeping safety, quality and applicable compliance requirements central to the service.
• You follow up on customer satisfaction and coordinate improvement plans with internal and customer stakeholders, taking ownership of agreed actions;
• You stay closely connected to daily operations through regular presence in the warehouse and customer service office in Feluy, collaborating with other DSV divisions where they support the account.
• You participate in monthly business reviews, co-organise quarterly reviews and organise annual reviews with your customer, connecting operational performance with the account's longer-term priorities.

You bring

• You bring at least 5 years of experience in key account management, a commercial role or an operations role within contract logistics, including experience in chemical-sector 3PL warehousing;
• You understand chemical warehousing operations and the importance of safety, quality and compliance in this environment;
• You combine customer focus and clear communication with the analytical skills to interpret KPIs, reporting and account performance;
• You work independently, prioritise effectively and remain solution-focused when handling operational escalations;
• You bring an open mind and a continuous improvement approach, turning ideas into practical solutions with the site teams;
• You adapt to changing customer needs, take responsibility for your commitments and build collaboration across teams;
• You have a good command of French and English, both spoken and written, enabling you to lead customer discussions and communicate clearly with local and international stakeholders.
