Job Description

Help take one of the world’s leading running brands to the next level.
Are you passionate about running, sport and building strong customer relationships? We’re looking for a commercially driven Key Account Manager to join our Wholesale team and help grow the Saucony brand across Victoria.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio of key wholesale accounts, drive profitable sales and bring Saucony’s product stories and brand strategy to life across the Run Specialty channel.
Working closely with our internal teams, external brand partners and global HQ, you’ll play an important role in delivering the next phase of growth for Saucony in Australia.
Accent Group is Australia and New Zealand’s leading digitally integrated retail and distribution business, with 34 iconic brands, 850+ stores across ANZ.
Our portfolio includes some of the world’s most recognised footwear and lifestyle brands, spanning performance, sport, fashion and streetwear. As the distributor of Saucony in Australia, we’re proud to bring one of the world’s most respected running brands to runners across the country.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Sales – VF & Wolverine Brands, you’ll own the relationship and commercial performance of your assigned Run Specialty wholesale accounts across Victoria.
You’ll combine strong account management, commercial acumen and a genuine passion for the running industry to drive sales, strengthen customer relationships and deliver sustainable growth.
You’ll be responsible for:
• Delivering sales across Saucony footwear, apparel and accessories to your portfolio of wholesale customers.
• Owning the overall relationship and commercial performance of your assigned accounts.
• Selling in future ranges and bringing Saucony’s brand strategy, product stories and key commercial priorities to life each season.
• Managing the order book and actively selling available stock to maximise sales and support healthy inventory outcomes.
• Monitoring and reporting on sell-through performance across your accounts and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Building strong, consistent relationships with key customers through showroom and buying visits, store visits, calls, video meetings and regular communication.
• Supporting the negotiation and delivery of trading terms and key commercial objectives.
• Working closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Operations and Customer Experience teams to ensure a seamless wholesale process.
• Partnering with internal teams to support accurate forecasting, order management and customer service.
• Staying close to the running market, your customers and the Saucony brand to identify emerging trends and commercial opportunities.
• Managing your cost of doing business, including travel, samples, marketing and entertainment, within agreed budgets.
About you
You’re a relationship builder who understands that great account management is about more than simply hitting a sales number. You’re commercially minded, organised and proactive, with the energy to get out in the market and make things happen.
You’ll bring:
• Demonstrated 3+ years’ experience in sales, account management or a similar commercial role.
• Experience within retail, wholesale, footwear, apparel, sport or a related industry.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to deliver sales outcomes.
• A university degree in Business, Sales or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
• A genuine interest in running, sport and the performance footwear industry.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and quality.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
• A dynamic and adaptable approach, with the confidence to work independently and take ownership.
• A Make It Happen attitude — you see an opportunity and find a way to make it happen.
Why Join Accent Group?
At Accent Group, we believe in Making It Happen.
You’ll join a fast-paced and collaborative Wholesale team where you’ll have the opportunity to work with some of the world’s most recognised footwear and lifestyle brands.
With Saucony continuing to build its presence in the Australian market, this is a chance to have a genuine impact on the brand’s growth and strengthen relationships across the Run Specialty channel.
We offer:
• Generous employee discounts across our extensive brand portfolio.
• Opportunities for career development and progression.
• The chance to work with globally recognised brands.
• A dynamic and collaborative Support Office in Cremorne.
• An inclusive culture that celebrates individuality, innovation and new ideas.
