We are looking for a Key Account Manager to drive growth for Delta’s Power Supply business in the DACH region. The role focuses on opening new accounts, identifying new applications, and shaping early-stage opportunities, rather than purely managing existing key accounts.

The position is suitable for candidates with 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or application-oriented roles within power electronics or related industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for power supply solutions across the DACH region.
  • Actively approach new customers, applications, and decision-makers to create early engagement.
  • Own the front-end of the sales process (lead generation, qualification, opportunity definition).
  • Drive feasibility discussions and early technical alignment together with application engineering.
  • Support selected customers or accounts until handover to Key Account Management, or continue managing them where appropriate.
  • Analyze market trends, applications, and competitor positioning to support strategic growth initiatives.
  • Build and maintain a structured opportunity pipeline and provide market feedback to internal teams.
  • Represent Delta at customer meetings, workshops, and relevant industry events.

Qualifications

  • Around 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or application-focused roles within power supplies, power electronics, or related technical markets.
  • Solid technical understanding of AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion solutions.
  • Strong “hunter” mindset with the ability to structure and qualify opportunities.
  • Confident communication and presentation skills at customer and technical stakeholder level.
  • Willingness to travel approx. 30% within the DACH region.
  • Fluency in German and English
