P&G Pro is a leading manufacturer and marketer of away from home products, using the innovative technology behind global brands like Dreft, Mr Proper and Ariel. We produce and sell cleaning and laundry products targeting at professional end users in the Foodservice / restaurant industry, Care, Hospitality and beyond.

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and develop the sales of our P&G Pro range to professional end users in the Food Service, Health Care and Hospitality industry, partly based in our Rotterdam office but mostly at the customer & end-users.

The Key Account Manager is responsible for acquiring and maintaining our national and regional accounts within the Food Service channel and driving category growth. Within this responsibility you will have the opportunity to also influence strategic direction on how we are our growing our sales organization.

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Grow the P&G Pro business by selling our professional product line to end-users in the focus areas of Food Service, Health Care & Hospitality.
  • Win contracts through successful tenders.
  • Develop business building ideas and sell these ideas to our accounts, leading and executing those ideas into reality.
  • Market our professional range of products to enable our customers to understand how their superiority meets their consumers' needs.
  • Support and collaborate with local distributors in the Food & Janitorial industries.
  • Lead from the front: we need people to understand customer's commercial needs and business to envision them in building opportunities. To do this we'll help you to develop expertise in areas such as product knowledge and technical support.

Job Qualifications

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in a sales role on national and regional accounts.
  • Experience in the Foodservice sector.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools is an advantage.
  • A strong “can-do” attitude with a proactive and hands-on approach.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to achieve business targets.
  • Proactive approach to new business acquisition, supported by strong negotiation and client management skills.
  • Fluent Dutch and communicative English.
  • Valid Driving License.
