Job Description

Sobi offers the opportunity to work at an international pharmaceutical company focused on specialty pharmaceuticals meeting the high medical needs of rare disease patients and providing treatment and services to them. Our employees come from a variety of backgrounds within research, healthcare, industry and the academic sphere.

The key account manager is responsible for developing the presence of Swedish Orphan Biovitrum Srl in the assigned Geographic Area, build and maintain relationship with customers. They will be the lead point of contact for all key client, assure a successful launch of new products ore indications on field, sustain Immunology products sales and promotion and collaborate with all others company departments (i.e. Market Access and Medical) to guarantee the correct implementation of all territorial activity.

Key Responsibility

  • Constantly monitor the area of his/her supervisor about the use of drugs and about adverse events reported by healthcare professionals in accordance with the current law requirements.
  • In collaboration with the Business Unit Director/NSM and Marketing define local activities and steps necessary to reach the objectives in his/her area of competence
  • Ensure the activity of medical information towards the Health Care Practitioners according to a plan agreed with his/her supervisor and in compliance with the company’s strategy, with the company’s policies and with current regulations.
  • Improve his/her own knowledge on the therapeutic area of his/her competence though the participation in meeting, refresher courses and self-learning.
  • Organize and plan his/her own activities (visits, itineraries, meeting) and, on a regular basis, report to his/her NSM using the available informatics tools.
  • Apply and respect legislative and company requirements concerning drug scientific information, drug safety and ethical code. In case of problems, act appropriately and inform his/her supervisor.
  • Participate in the National Congresses alone and together with clients.
  • Responsible for creating visits/activities with local stakeholders that consider long-term goals.
  • CRM system activities reporting as per planned deadlines along the year/cycles.

The KAM must ensure accountability, willingness to give support to other colleagues and involve them by working cross functionally. On top of all the ability to give and receive feedback in a transparent and honest way is key for playing the role coordinating the field team in local field meetings. Sales effectiveness must be ensured by executing Calls and Field Activities and reporting those accordingly and rightly in the CRM System.

Qualifications

  • At least 2y of relevant experience within Onco-Hematology, Immunology or Rare Diseases;
  • Bachelor’s Decree qualifying the profession of the Pharmaceutical Scientific Information (art.122 law 219/06)
  • Driving licence;
