DuPont's Multibase™ business is a global leader in offering a wide variety of silicone masterbatch and thermoplastic resins. Our Silicone Masterbatch products include a range of silicone-based additives and masterbatches that enhance the properties and processability of popular thermoplastic resins. The thermoplastic elastomer compounds predominantly serve the needs of the transportation industry, consumer markets, and industrial applications.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead Multibase™ sales activities in China, a market that is growing rapidly and has immense growth potential. The Key Account Manager will play a crucial role in developing new growth pipelines, managing channel partners and direct accounts, and expanding relationships with key value chain partners to achieve sustainable and valuable business growth.

Main Responsibilities:

• Developing and delivering new business pipelines in DuPont’s TPE/TPO thermoplastic compound product lines & TPSIV in auto and consumer electronic applications
• Effectively managing channel partners and direct accounts by enhancing demand forecasts, inventory management, and relationship building, and key account planning
• Collaborating with Marketing, Product Management, and R&D/TS&D functions to identify prospective customers in strategic and tactical segments to meet team and individual growth objectives and financial matrix.
• Monitoring competition and sharing market intelligence and customer insights with the Marketer and Commercial Leader.
• Actively participating and engaging in regional and country sales and cross-functional meetings and activities.
• Organizing and facilitating product training sessions at and with channel partners.
• Other assignments as designated.

Qualification:

• The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in chemical, material science, or plastic backgrounds
• A minimum of 5 years’ commercial &/or technical experience in polymers and specialty additives, with experience with Automotive & Electronic value chain experience being preferred.
• Excellent demand generation, KA management experience and skills, with strong business acumen, and the ability to innovate and execute business strategies effectively
• Excellent pipeline development and project management capabilities
• High motivation and capability in business development as well as channel management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, with strong sense of ownership and accountability, fast learning and self-driven.
• Excellent interpersonal skills across a broader variety of functions and able to work independently as well as a team player.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Flexible with frequent business travels in China.
