Over more than 35 years, our client has established a global leadership position in high-end light measurement systems. The team members of this Germany-based corporation enjoy the agility of a medium-sized company as well as the safety and career perspectives of its mother, an international high-tech enterprise. The global customer base includes renowned manufacturers of LEDs, displays, and automotive accessories on top of leading testing laboratories and research institutions.

The Sales team in Munich keeps growing and is looking for you as

Key Account Manager (m/f/d)

In this dynamic business unit, you will build upon solid existing business and discover new market potential. Supported by our client's strong brand and technology leadership you will play the key role in driving growth business with strategic key accounts.

Tasks

  • Support existing customers and deepen customer relationships
  • Acquire new strategic key accounts with a focus on opto-electronic components
  • Collaborate with the Product Management team to optimize the R&D and product roadmap
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer applications to manage the development of customized products
  • Collaborate closely with your colleagues from Field Application Engineering, R&D, and
    sales support

Requirements

  • BSc/MSc in Engineering, Physics, Optics or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in sales, key account management or business development of technical high-end products, preferably in the field of optics/photonics
  • Solid understanding in optics and light measurement
  • Very good spoken and written German and English skills
  • Self-driven, proactive, and trustworthy personality with strong communication skills
