The Team

As a Key Account Manager (m/f/d) in the hospital sector, you will actively shape the market success of our products in the hospital segment. You will be a strategic partner for hospitals and responsible for developing sustainable customer relationships and successfully positioning our portfolio within the complex healthcare environment. In this role, you will combine strong sales skills with a deep understanding of healthcare economics, hospital structures, and reimbursement mechanisms, and make a significant contribution to the implementation of our corporate strategy.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Sales responsibility: Implement the defined sales, profitability and growth targets through a targeted key customer approach.

  • Strategic Account Management: Development and maintenance of long-term customer relationships through strategic account and project management .

  • Product promotion: Actively promote our product solutions in the hospital sector and ensure that​ our offers the highest claims suffice.

  • Communication with HCPs: Act as the main contact person for important actors in the hospital sector, such as Hospital pharmacists, physicians and health economics decision makers, and create trust through well-founded advice and support.

  • Market analysis: Analyse continuously market developments and recognize new business opportunities in the framework of the corporate strategy.

  • Close coordination with Medical, Marketing, Market Access, and Sales.

What you’ll bring

  • Completed degree (e.g., Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or similar)

  • Qualification as a pharmaceutical sales representative in accordance with §75 AMG

  • Proven experience in hospital sales or Pharmaceutical Key Account Management

  • In-depth knowledge of hospital structures and decision-making processes

  • Ideally, experience in therapeutic areas such as infectious diseases, intensive care, or oncology

  • Well-founded understanding of the hospital market and the relevant decision-making processes

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Independent and structured working style

  • Excellent German and English language skills
