For our group company, Bernard RothfosIntercaféAG , we are looking for a Key Account Manager - Green Coffee (f/m/d)
The position will be based in Zug.
Bernard RothfosIntercaféAG is a globally active company within the green coffee supply chain. With deep roots at origin and long-standing relationships with international customers, we connect producers and markets with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and partnership.
To further strengthen this connection, we are creating a new Key Account Manager role that will act as the central link between origin and our international large-scale customers, managing all relevant internal interfaces across trading,logistics, quality, and risk management.
Your role
As Key AccountManager,youact as the central coordination and integration pointfor selected international key accounts.You will build andmaintainlong-term relationships with strategic clients,act as the primary point of contact for key customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction,identifyinggrowth opportunities, and driving revenue through consultative sales and account development.
You will ensure that customer requirements are translated into internalprocesses, andconsistently delivered across the entire organization and supply chain. In doing so, you work in close alignment with the relevant expert functions, particularly trading, logistics, quality, food safety, sustainability, compliance, risk management, and finance to ensure that requirements are assessed appropriately, implemented effectively, and aligned with internal standards and regulatory expectations.
This role combines customer leadership,cross functional coordination,commercial acumen,internal stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of the coffee value chain from origin to destination.
Ensure that NKG operates as a coordinated network for global customers, delivering consistency, transparency, and reliability across origins.
Your responsibilities
Act as the primary interface between origin teams, international key customers, and internal functions
Manage and develop long-term relationships with strategically important global customers
Translate customer requirements into clear internal briefs and coordinate execution across:
- Trading and Sourcing;mainly connectingvertically integrated supply chainsin origin(NKG exporters) and clients
- Logistics and Supply Chain /BusinessExecution
- Quality, Food Safety, Sustainability, and Compliance
- Risk Managementand Finance
Identifybusiness opportunitiesfor the origin companies/profit centers
Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively resolve issues
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
Prepare and conduct customer meetings, presentations, and contract negotiations
Coordinate volumes, qualities, origins, timelines, and specifications from origin to customer
Ensure reliable delivery, transparency, and consistency throughout the entire order lifecycle
Proactivelyidentifyrisks, bottlenecks, and dependencies and drive solutions with stakeholders
Support contract execution, pricing logic, and change management throughout the season
Prepare customer-related analyses, performance reviews, and decision documents for management
Continuouslyimprovecross-functional collaboration and process efficiency
