
As a Key Account Manager Foodservice you will be joining Fricodan (part of the Heuschen & Schrouff Food Group), a leading importer and distributor of authentic Asian food and non-food products in Europe. From our base in Málaga, we represent a wide range of top Asian brands.
You are a skilled negotiator, responsible for building and expanding the customer portfolio across Spain. In close collaboration with the Country Director, you will drive sales growth with our existing Foodservice wholesale partners and generate new revenue by establishing successful partnerships with potential Foodservice wholesalers.
Your key responsibilities include:
Developing new business opportunities
Managing and expanding long-term, sustainable relationships with existing customers
Negotiating prices, delivery terms, contracts, and closing deals
Visiting existing and potential customers and preparing visit reports for follow-up by internal teams
Coordinating technical support and the introduction of new products
Forecasting and monitoring sales results per account
Creating and implementing the annual sales plan and account plans for your region
Identifying new market trends and opportunities
Organizing and participating in national trade fairs and client events
You will be supported by our internal back-office teams, based in Málaga, with whom you will maintain regular communication to achieve goals and ensure our customers remain satisfied and engaged with our products and services over the long term.
Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken
Your life is based in central or southern Spain, with the flexibility to travel frequently throughout the country
Proven experience in a similar national-level sales role within the foodservice industry
Affinity with (Asian) cuisine is a plus
Ability to establish new contacts and build relationships at all levels within organizations, based on trust, quality, and expertise
Excellent listening skills and strong problem-solving, negotiation, and presentation abilities
Independent, organized, and proactive
