Job Description

About the role:

Within the FM Sales strategy and specific Area Sales guidelines, the Key Account Manager FM is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all regional customer activities to achieve short‑ and medium‑term commercial results in volume, margin, customer profitability, and market share.

Key responsibilities:

  • Actively develop and maintain new and existing customer relationships, managing accounts through direct engagement with customers. Conduct regular visits to strengthen relationships, understand customer needs, and provide support to agents/distributors.
  • Execute business development initiatives and action plans defined in alignment with the Sales Director and FM Sales Strategy.
  • Coordinate closely with Customer Service to ensure accurate order processing and on‑time delivery to customers.
  • Maintain effective communication and cross‑functional collaboration with Production, Marketing, QA, R&D, Logistics, Finance, and other Sales teams to ensure full execution of customer and sales commitments.
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports on sales performance, volumes, margins, customer profitability, and broader business activities.
  • Collect, analyze, and share market, customer, and competitor intelligence to support strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Provide input on product mix, pricing, portfolio alignment, and customer‑specific commercial agreements in line with FM strategy and customer needs.

About you:

  • University degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related fields; fluent in English.
  • Minimum 7 years of commercial experience, including at least 3 years in B2B.
  • Strong awareness of FMCG–B2C market dynamics and consumer trends, with the ability to anticipate their impact and convert insights into effective B2B strategies.
  • Solid understanding of the specific market environment, customer dynamics, cost drivers, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build long‑term customer relationships and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen, structured thinking, and analytical approach to problem‑solving.
  • Ability to work effectively across departments (Production, Marketing, QA, R&D, Logistics, Finance, Sales) and navigate complex operational environments.
  • Customer‑centric mindset, resilience, adaptability, and proactive leadership style.
  • Team‑oriented, able to handle ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and act as a trusted advisor to customers.
