Job Description

As a Key Account Manager at GE HealthCare, you will have the unique opportunity to represent our world-leading company in the domestic market. The focus of the role is to drive orders and sales growth by executing the company’s strategy, developing key relationships at the appropriate levels within customer organizations, and generating partnership opportunities in the Central region of Colombia (Bogota), in both public and private sectors, to increase GE HealthCare’s market share.

The role requires someone capable of building and maintaining strong customer relationships, promoting our company's solutions and achieving mutual satisfaction, growing the company's revenue. Must be able to analyze sales data and statistics to develop and implement strategic plans that achieve company and clients’ goals. Should have proven knowledge and experience in medical technology sector, in relationship development and project management, and in-depth knowledge of medical imaging devices.

Whatyou’lldo

  • Achieve company KPIs through effective sales strategy and planning.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives and generate increased revenue for the company.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients’ needs and requirements and prepare customized solutions.
  • Support, address and lead the solution of customer´s claims with each area.
  • Build a successful sales strategy and support contracts negotiation with clients, mainly strategic accounts and multimodalities deals and meet the deadlines established for the fulfillment of the goals of each client.
  • Monitor market trends and provide competitor information.
  • Works through all opportunities for the geography in Bogota, retaining existing customers and acquiring new ones.
  • Communicate and collaborate with operations, delivery, marketing, finance, sales, and logistics departments to ensure clients’ needs are met.
  • Present, escalate package and multimodalities deals cases with each area, when requires T&C exception approval through formal workflow and when a special commercial strategy is needed to be successful in the negotiation.
  • Compile reports on sales teams and account progress, goals, and forecasts.
  • Lead and assure adherence to our policies in all negotiation specially in public bid tenders.
  • Looks continuously for improving Customer experience. Works with the wider business to identify opportunities and deliver improvements.
  • Works with product sales leaders and service teams to increase prospects and drive closure of opportunities.
  • Represents the company at trade shows, industry meetings to promote our product and our company.
  • Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.

What you need to have

  • Strong oral and written communication skills to synthesize complex issues and communicate into simple messages.
  • Technical knowledge in Diagnostics Imaging.
  • Bachellor Degree in biomedical engineering or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare sector.
  • Advanced English language proficiency.
  • Ability to navigate in matrix organization.
  • Background in Medical devices industry.
  • Willing to learn about medical devices technologies and health care sector.
  • Ownership to manage wing to wing sales process from order to collection.
