We are now seeking a Key Account Manager to join our Spanish Affiliate. This is a critical, customer-facing role with responsibility for managing key hospital accounts, driving product adoption, and delivering strong commercial performance across Spain.

About the Role

As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for leading account management and commercial execution across your territory, with a strong focus on optimising product positioning within hospital settings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing key hospital accounts to drive commercial performance and brand growth
  • Building strong, trust-based relationships with local clinicians, pharmacists and key decision-makers
  • Developing and executing tailored account plans aligned to business objectives
  • Collaborating closely with Medical, Market Access and Marketing teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Delivering high-quality scientific and value-based customer engagements
  • Monitoring market dynamics and competitor activity to maintain a competitive advantage, providing local insights
  • Tracking performance against KPIs and adapting plans to achieve sales targets
  • Ensuring all activities are compliant with regulatory and ethical standards

What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a commercially driven and customer-focused professional who can operate effectively in a field-based, high-impact role.

You will bring:

  • Experience in pharmaceutical hospital sales, ideally within hospital specialty care
  • Proven track record of managing key accounts and delivering strong commercial results
  • Ideally experience in infectious diseases or antimicrobial therapies
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • Ability to identify account needs and translate them into commercial opportunities
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a collaborative environment
  • High level of autonomy, accountability and a proactive mindset
  • Degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline
