PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

  • Overall responsible for the regional marketing and sales activities in Austria, from a practical as well as operational point of view.
  • Covering both Pharmaceutical Products and Medical Devices
  • Achieve growth and reach sales targets successfully

Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Regional support for in-depth understanding of products, value to target customers, competitive assessments and ability to translate value into marketing and sales activities
  • Ability to analyse the market situation, decide how to prioritise the marketing and sales tactics and thereby use resources in the best possible way
  • Develop and execute regional sales and marketing plan
  • Execution of the tactical and strategic elements of the sales and marketing plan, monitor achievements of sales objectives working with F2F and digital meetings
  • Ensure that commercial activities are in line with legislation, regulations and industry code of conduct
  • Support ensuring market access and funding
  • Participate in deviation and complaint handling
  • Involve relevant internal as well as external stakeholder to ensure further business development
  • Being the driver for regional cross functional activities (marketing, Medical department)

Marketing

  • As the Key Account Manager focused on Healthcare Professionals you will support and drive local tactical execution in the region:
  • Support Brand Managers with alignment and review all promotional assets
  • Support the development of any necessary training, sales guidance materials, or communications required for execution
  • Tactical and operational local input into overarching Brand strategy and implementation.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience from the pharmaceutical industry
  • A strong sales record
  • Marketing knowhow
  • Able to build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with customers and understanding their needs
  • Health care professionals, patient organisations, medicine committees, payers and authorities
  • Personality
  • Flexible and able to adopt - keeping many balls in the air at the same time
  • Self-driven and focused; team player as well as being able to be maintain self-motivation and energy for being out in the field with customers daily
  • High engagement and entrepreneurial spirit - wants to make a difference

SOCIAL SKILLS:

  • Proactive and diplomatic, ‘can do’ attitude’
  • Ability to interact at all levels and build trustworthy relationships within the company, with customers and other stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills and a good sense of humour
  • Acceptable knowledge of code of conduct in marketing & sales and market access
  • Fluent in German language and English (spoken and written)
  • Digital skilled with CRM-systems, Digital Meeting platforms, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
